तदनन्तर जब वे शस्त्र लेकर समुद्र के पास पहुँचे, तब समुद्र उनके समक्ष जल लेकर उपस्थित हुआ और बोला - "मैंने सांदीपनि के पुत्र का अपहरण नहीं किया है ॥ 26॥
Thereafter when he, having taken up arms, reached the sea, the sea presented itself before him with an offering of water and said, "I have not abducted Sandipaṇī's son.॥ 26॥
