तत्पश्चात् समस्त विद्याओं को जानने वाले तथा सर्वविद्याओं से युक्त होने पर भी वीर श्रीकृष्ण और बलरामजी गुरु-शिष्य सम्बन्ध को प्रकट करने के लिए उपनयन संस्कार के पश्चात् ज्ञान प्राप्त करने के लिए काशी में जन्मे अवन्तिपुर के ऋषि सान्दीपनि के पास गए। ॥18-19॥
Thereafter, despite knowing all the sciences and being endowed with all-knowledge, the brave Krishna and Balarama went to the sage Sandipani of Avantipur, who was born in Kashi, to acquire knowledge after the Upanayana ceremony in order to reveal the Guru-disciple relationship. ॥18-19॥
