वन में पहुँचकर वे ब्राह्मण परम विनम्र राजकुमार देवापि के आश्रम पर उपस्थित हुए; और ‘केवल ज्येष्ठ भाई ही राज्य करे’ इस अर्थ के समर्थक वेदानुसार अनेक वाक्य कहने लगे ॥24-25॥
On reaching the forest, those Brahmins present themselves at the ashram of the most humble prince Devapi; And the supporters of this meaning 'only the eldest brother should rule' started saying many sentences according to the Vedas. 24-25॥
