'प्रभो! देवता, असुर, गन्धर्व, यक्ष, राक्षस आदि कोई भी आपको जीत नहीं सकते, फिर पृथ्वी पर रहने वाले अल्पायु मनुष्यों अथवा हम जैसे मनुष्य के अंशरूपी पारलौकिक जीवों का तो कहना ही क्या? निश्चय ही आप हमारे प्रभु श्री रामचन्द्रजी के समान सम्पूर्ण जगत के पालनकर्ता भगवान नारायण के अंश से प्रकट हुए हैं।' जाम्बवान् के ऐसा कहने पर भगवान ने उन्हें पृथ्वी का भार हरण करने के लिए अपने अवतार लेने का सम्पूर्ण वृत्तांत सुनाया और प्रेमपूर्वक अपने हाथ से उनका स्पर्श करके उन्हें युद्ध के श्रम से मुक्त कर दिया। 53-54॥
'Lord! No one like Gods, Asuras, Gandharvas, Yakshas, Rakshasas etc. can conquer you, then what can we say about the short-lived humans living on the earth or the transsexual creatures like us who are part of human beings? Surely, like our Lord Shri Ramchandraji, you have appeared from a part of Lord Narayana, the protector of the entire world.'' On Jambavan saying this, Lord told him the entire story of taking His incarnation to take away the burden of the earth and by lovingly touching him with His hand, freed him from the labor of war. 53-54॥
