यदि आप इसे धारण करेंगे तो इससे सम्पूर्ण राष्ट्र का कल्याण होगा। अतः सम्पूर्ण राष्ट्र के कल्याण के लिए आप इसे पूर्ववत् धारण करें, इस विषय में और कुछ न कहें।'' भगवान के ऐसा कहने पर उदारचित्त अक्रूरजी ने 'जैसी आपकी इच्छा' कहकर उस मणि को ले लिया। तब से अक्रूरजी उस अत्यन्त कांतिमान मणि को गले में धारण करके सबके सामने किरणों के जाल से घिरे हुए सूर्य के समान विचरण करने लगे।॥160-161॥

When the Lord said this, the generous Akrur said, 'As you wish' and took that precious stone. From then on, Akrur started moving around in front of everyone wearing that extremely radiant gem around his neck, like the Sun, surrounded by a net of rays.॥ 160-161॥
