नासन्दिसंस्थिते पात्रे नादेशे च नरेश्वर।
नाकाले नातिसंकीर्णे दत्त्वाग्रं च नरोऽग्नये॥ ८३॥
अनुवाद
हे मनुष्यों के स्वामी! कभी भी कुर्सी पर रखे बर्तन में, अनुपयुक्त स्थान पर, अनुचित समय (संध्या आदि) में या बहुत संकरे स्थान पर भोजन न करें। मनुष्य को भोजन करने से पहले भोजन का अग्र भाग अग्नि में अर्पित करना चाहिए।
O Lord of men! Never eat in a vessel placed on a chair, in an unsuitable place, at an inappropriate time (evening etc.) or in a very narrow place. A man should offer the front portion of the food to the fire before eating. 83.
