हे मनुष्यों के स्वामी! इसके बाद ब्रह्म मुहूर्त में उठकर सबसे पहले शौच-प्रश्वास करें। गाँव के दक्षिण-पश्चिम कोने में जहाँ तक तीर पहुँच सकता है, वहाँ तक जाएँ अथवा अपने निवास स्थान से दूर जाकर शौच-प्रश्वास करें। धुले हुए पैर और गंदा पानी अपने घर के आँगन में न डालें। 8-10.
O Lord of men! Thereafter get up in the Brahma Muhurta and first urinate. Go as far as an arrow can reach in the south-west corner of the village or go away from your place of residence and defecate. Do not pour the washed feet and dirty water in the courtyard of your house. 8-10.
