पितॄणां प्रीणनार्थाय त्रिरप: पृथिवीपते।
पितामहेभ्यश्च तथा प्रीणयेत्प्रपितामहान्॥ २९॥
मातामहाय तत्पित्रे तत्पित्रे च समाहित:।
दद्यात्पैत्रेण तीर्थेन काम्यं चान्यच्छृणुष्व मे॥ ३०॥
अनुवाद
हे पृथ्वी के स्वामी! पितरों और पूर्वजों को प्रसन्न करने के लिए तीन बार जल छोड़ें और इसी प्रकार पितामहों को भी संतुष्ट करने के लिए पितृ तीर्थ से जल लेकर नाना-नानी, उनके पिता और उनके पितरों को सावधानी से दान करें। अब मैं काम्य तर्पण का वर्णन करूँगा, सुनिए। 29-30॥
O Lord of the Earth! Release water three times to please the ancestors and forefathers and similarly to satisfy the great grandfathers also, carefully donate water from the Pitru Teerth to the maternal grandparents, their father and their fathers.
