एकांशेनास्थितो विष्णु: करोति प्रतिपालनम्।
मन्वादिरूपश्चान्येन कालरूपोऽपरेण च॥ २६॥
सर्वभूतेषु चान्येन संस्थित: कुरुते स्थितिम्।
सत्त्वं गुणं समाश्रित्य जगत: पुरुषोत्तम:॥ २७॥ |

| तब परमेश्वर सत्त्वगुण का आश्रय लेकर जगत् का पालन करता है। उस समय वह एक अंश से विष्णु होकर उसका पालन करता है, दूसरे अंश से मनु आदि बनता है, तीसरे अंश से काल बनता है और चौथे अंश से सम्पूर्ण तत्त्वों में स्थित होता है॥26-27॥ |

| Then the Supreme Being takes shelter of the Sattva Guna and maintains the world. At that time, with one part he becomes Vishnu and nurtures it, with the second part he becomes Manu etc., with the third part he becomes Kaal and with the fourth he is situated in all elements.॥26-27॥ |
