इन्द्रदेव ने उनसे कहा था कि ‘मा रोदि:’ (मत रोओ), इसीलिए वे मरुत कहलाए। ये उनचास मरुद्गण इन्द्र के सहायक देवता हुए ॥41॥
Lord Indra had told him that ‘Ma Rodi:’ (Don’t cry), that is why he was called Marut. These forty nine Marudganas became the assistant deities of Indra. 41॥
