महात्मा इन्द्र के विषय में प्राचीन कथा है कि जब इन्द्र पर ब्रह्महत्या का दोष लगा था, तब अश्वमेध यज्ञ करने के बाद ही उनकी शुद्धि हुई थी॥3॥
It is an ancient tale about Mahatma Indra that when Indra was accused of the murder of a brahmin, he was purified only after performing the Ashwamedha Yagna.॥ 3॥
