अतः तुम इस विशाल सेना को आगे भेजकर, केवल धनुष लेकर पीछे से मधुवन में जाओ और इस प्रकार यात्रा करो कि मधुपुत्र लवण को यह संदेह न हो कि तुम युद्ध करने के इरादे से वहाँ जा रहे हो, और तुम्हारी गतिविधियों का उसे पता भी न चले॥ 7-8॥
