तब ऋषिगण आगे-आगे चले और सीता हाथ जोड़कर उनके पीछे-पीछे चलीं। विदेहनन्दिनी के साथ ऋषि को आते देख ऋषियों की पत्नियाँ उनके पास आईं और बड़ी प्रसन्नता से इस प्रकार बोलीं -॥18॥
Then the sages went ahead and Sita followed them with folded hands. Seeing the sage coming with Videhanandini, the sages' wives came to them and spoke with great joy as follows -॥18॥
