ते यूयमवगाहध्वं नर्मदां शर्मदां शुभाम्।
सार्वभौममुखा मत्ता गङ्गामिव महागजा:॥ ३२॥

अतः तुम्हें इस शुभ नदी नर्मदा में स्नान करना चाहिए, जो सबको सुख देती है। जैसे सार्वभौम आदि महान दैत्य मतवाले होकर गंगा में डुबकी लगाते हैं।
‘Therefore, you should take a bath in this auspicious river Narmada which gives happiness to all. Just like the great giants like Sarvabhauma etc. take a dip in the Ganges in a drunken state.
