उसके महान् बाणों, भयंकर भालों और बाणों की वर्षा से पीड़ित होकर समस्त देवता युद्धभूमि में एकमत होकर खड़े नहीं रह सके ॥42 1/2॥
All the gods could not remain standing united on the battlefield as they were being smitten by his great arrows, terrible spears and a shower of arrows. ॥ 42 1/2॥
