हे राजन! ये आचरण यश, धन और कुल का नाश करते हैं। इनसे प्राणियों को जो कष्ट होता है, वह महान पाप है। यह जानते हुए भी आप नीति का उल्लंघन कर रहे हैं और मनमाना आचरण कर रहे हैं॥ 18॥
‘O King! These practices destroy fame, wealth and family. The suffering caused to living beings by these is a great sin. Even after knowing this, you are violating the moral conduct and indulging in arbitrariness.॥ 18॥
