प्रहस्त के वचन सुनकर महाबली दशग्रीव अपनी सेना, अनुचरों और भाइयों सहित कुबेर द्वारा त्यागी गई लंका में प्रवेश कर गया। उस नगर में बड़े-बड़े मार्ग बने हुए थे, जिनका उचित विभाजन किया गया था। जिस प्रकार देवताओं के राजा इंद्र स्वर्ग के सिंहासन पर विराजमान हुए, उसी प्रकार देवताओं के शत्रु रावण ने लंका में प्रवेश किया। 49-50.
On Prahast's words, the mighty Dashagriva entered Lanka, abandoned by Kubera, along with his army, followers and brothers. There were big roads built in that city with proper division. Just as the king of gods Indra ascended the throne of heaven, in the same manner the enemy of gods Ravana entered Lanka. 49-50.
