उस समय वानरों ने हर्ष में भरकर बड़ी भारी सिंहनाद किया। ऐसा प्रतीत हुआ मानो वे अट्टालिकाओं और गोपुरों सहित लंकापुरी को विदीर्ण कर रहे हों। अंगद सहित वानरों का वह महान शब्द इन्द्रसहित देवताओं की गम्भीर गर्जना के समान प्रतीत हो रहा था। 24-25॥
