मम नाम त्वया वीर गतस्य यमसादनम्।
प्रेतकार्याणि कार्याणि विपरीते हि वर्तसे॥ १४॥
अनुवाद
वीर! होना तो यह चाहिए था कि मैं पहले यमलोक जाता और तुम यहीं रहकर अपना प्रेत-कर्म करते; परन्तु तुम तो विपरीत गति को प्राप्त हो गए (तुम परलोक चले गए और मुझे तुम्हारा प्रेत-कर्म करना पड़ेगा)॥14॥
‘Veer! What should have happened was that I would have gone to Yamaloka first and you would have stayed here and performed my ghostly duties; but you got into the opposite state (you went to the other world and I will have to perform your ghostly duties).॥ 14॥
