| उसने सोने से मण्डित एक सुन्दर रथ बनवाया और उस पर भाला, तलवार, बाण आदि सब आवश्यक वस्तुएँ रख दीं। फिर उसमें श्रेष्ठ घोड़े जोतकर घुड़सवारी की कला जानने वाले तथा हितकर उपदेश देने वाले एक सारथी को बैठाया। उस रथ पर स्वयं रावण का वह महापराक्रमी एवं विजयी पुत्र सवार हुआ। |

| He decorated a beautiful chariot adorned with gold and placed on it all the necessary items like spear, sword and arrows etc. Then he harnessed the best horses to it and seated a charioteer who knew the art of horse-riding and who gave beneficial advice, on it, that very powerful and victorious son of Ravana himself rode on that chariot. |
