यदि यह कहा जाए कि उसने खर को मारा, तो यह सत्य नहीं है; क्योंकि खर अत्याचारी था। उसने स्वयं उसे मारने के लिए उस पर आक्रमण किया था। इसीलिए श्री राम ने युद्धभूमि में उसका वध किया; क्योंकि प्रत्येक प्राणी को अपनी शक्ति के अनुसार अपने प्राणों की रक्षा अवश्य करनी चाहिए॥ 14॥
‘If it is said that he killed Khara, then it is not correct; because Khara was a tyrant. He himself attacked him to kill him. That is why Shri Ram killed him on the battlefield; because every living being must protect his life as per his ability.॥ 14॥
