मनुजवर न कालविप्रकर्षो
रिपुनिधनं प्रति यत्क्षमोऽद्य कर्तुम्।

दिविजरिपोर्मथने यथा महेन्द्र:॥ २२॥

नरेश! शत्रुओं का नाश करने में इस समय विलम्ब करना उचित नहीं है। अतः आप लक्ष्मण को शत्रुओं का संहार करने के लिए उसी प्रकार भेजें, जैसे देवविरोधियों का नाश करने के लिए राजा इन्द्र वज्र का प्रयोग करते हैं।
