तथोक्तो राक्षसेन्द्रेण प्रतिगृह्य पितुर्वच:।
यज्ञभूमौ स विधिवत् पावकं जुहुवेन्द्रजित्॥ ५॥
अनुवाद
राक्षसराज रावण की यह बात सुनकर इन्द्रजित् ने पिता की आज्ञा मानकर यज्ञभूमि में जाकर अग्नि प्रज्वलित की और उसमें हवन किया॥5॥
On hearing this from the demon king Ravana, Indrajit obeyed his father's orders and went to the sacrificial ground, lit the fire and performed the ritualistic havan in it. 5॥
