कृतं न: कदनं घोरं कुम्भकर्णेन रक्षसा।
न स्थानकालो गच्छामो दयितं जीवितं हि न:॥ २९॥

वे बोले, 'कुम्भकर्ण राक्षस ने हम लोगों में बड़ा भारी संहार मचाया है; इसलिए अब यहाँ रुकने का समय नहीं है। हम जा रहे हैं; क्योंकि हमें अपने प्राण प्रिय हैं॥ 29॥
They said, 'The demon Kumbhakarna has caused great destruction among us; therefore this is not the time to stay. We are leaving; because we love our lives.'॥ 29॥
