माया से आवृत और समस्त प्राणियों से अदृश्य उस रात्रिचर योद्धा ने वहाँ मिथ्या युद्ध करते हुए दोनों रघुवंशी भाइयों श्री राम और लक्ष्मण को मोहित करके सर्परूपी बाणों से उन्हें बाँध लिया॥36-37॥
Covered with illusion and invisible to all living beings, that nocturnal warrior, who waged a false war there, seduced the two Raghuvanshi brothers, Shri Ram and Lakshman, and bound them with snake-shaped arrows. 36-37॥
