सौम्य! हे महावानर! दस मुखवाला रावण राज्य के धन से वंचित हो गया है, अब उसका ऐश्वर्य समाप्त हो गया है, वह मरना चाहता है, इसीलिए उसकी चेतना (विचारशक्ति) नष्ट हो गई है। तुम प्राचीर पार करके समस्त भय त्यागकर लंकापुरी में जाओ और बिना किसी कष्ट के उससे मेरी ओर से ये वचन कहो -॥60-61॥
Soumya! O great monkey! The ten-faced Ravan has been scorned from the kingdom's wealth, now his prosperity is over, he wants to die, that is why his consciousness (power of thinking) has been destroyed.
