लंका का उत्तरी द्वार पर्वत शिखर जितना ऊँचा था। राम और लक्ष्मण ने अपने धनुष लेकर उसका मार्ग रोक लिया और अपनी सेना की रक्षा के लिए वहीं रुक गए।
The northern gate of Lanka was as high as a mountain peak. Rama and Lakshmana blocked its path with their bows in their hands and stayed there to protect their army.
