विद्यास्वभिविनीतो यो राजा राजन् नयानुग:।
स शास्ति चिरमैश्वर्यमरींश्च कुरुते वशे॥ ७॥
अनुवाद
हे राजन! जो राजा चौदह विषयों में पारंगत है और नीति का पालन करता है, वह दीर्घकाल तक राज्य करता है। वह अपने शत्रुओं को भी परास्त कर सकता है।
‘O King! A king who is well educated in all the fourteen subjects and follows ethics, rules the kingdom for a long time. He can even subdue his enemies.
