सुमुखो दुर्मुखश्चात्र वेगदर्शी च वानर:।
मृत्युर्वानररूपेण नूनं सृष्ट: स्वयंभुवा॥ २३॥
अनुवाद
सुमुख, दुर्मुख और वेगदर्शी नामक वानर- ये मृत्यु के पुत्र हैं। निश्चय ही स्वयंभू ब्रह्मा ने इन वानरों के रूप में स्वयं मृत्यु को उत्पन्न किया है। 23॥
‘The monkeys named Sumukh, Durmukh and Vegdarshi – these are the sons of death. Certainly, Swayambhu Brahma has created death itself in the form of these monkeys. 23॥
