उस समय आकाश में स्थित देवता, गन्धर्व, बड़े-बड़े नाग, ऋषि, दैत्य, राक्षस और विमान पर बैठे हुए गरुड़, ये सभी नाना प्रकार के भयंकर आक्रमणों से युक्त, समस्त लोकों के विनाश के समान दिखाई देने वाले युद्धप्रिय योद्धा श्री राम और रावण के साथ युद्ध का दृश्य देखने लगे॥43-44॥
