सस्फुलिङ्ग: सधूमार्चि: सधूमकलुषोदय:।
मन्त्रसंधुक्षितोऽप्यग्निर्न सम्यगभिवर्धते॥ १५॥ |

| मन्त्रों के उच्चारण से अग्नि को भली-भाँति प्रज्वलित करने पर भी अग्नि ठीक से नहीं जलती। उसमें से चिंगारियाँ निकलने लगती हैं। उसकी लपटों के साथ धुआँ उठने लगता है और जब मंथन के समय अग्नि प्रकट होती है, तब भी वह धुएँ से मलिन रहती है॥15॥ |
