कुलीनान् रूपसम्पन्नान् गजान् परगजारुजान्।
शिक्षितान् गजशिक्षायामैरावतसमान् युधि॥ ३२॥
निहन्तॄन् परसैन्यानां गृहे तस्मिन् ददर्श स:।
क्षरतश्च यथा मेघान् स्रवतश्च यथा गिरीन्॥ ३३॥
मेघस्तनितनिर्घोषान् दुर्धर्षान् समरे परै:। |

| वहाँ उत्तम नस्ल के सुन्दर हाथी भी थे, जो शत्रु सेना के हाथियों का संहार करते थे। वे सभी हाथी-विद्या में पारंगत थे, युद्ध में ऐरावत के समान पराक्रमी थे और शत्रु सेनाओं का संहार करने में समर्थ थे। वे बरसते हुए बादलों के समान मदमस्त होकर और बहते हुए पर्वतों के समान झरनों से बह रहे थे। उनकी गर्जना बादलों की गर्जना के समान थी। युद्धभूमि में शत्रुओं के लिए वे अजेय थे। हनुमान जी ने उन सभी को रावण के महल में देखा। |

| There were also beautiful elephants of good breed, who used to kill the elephants of the enemy army. All of them were well trained in elephant training, were as valiant as Airavat in war and were capable of destroying the enemy armies. They were flowing with intoxication like raining clouds and waterfalls like flowing mountains. Their roar was like the roar of clouds. They were invincible for the enemies in the battle field.
