न धर्मवादे न च लोकवृत्ते
न शास्त्रबुद्धिग्रहणेषु वापि।
विद्येत कश्चित्तव वीर तुल्य-
स्त्वं ह्युत्तम: सर्वसुरासुराणाम्॥ १७॥

हे वीर! धर्म की व्याख्या करने, लोक-रीति का पालन करने तथा शास्त्रों के सिद्धांतों को समझने में तुम्हारे समान कोई नहीं है। तुम देवताओं और दानवों में श्रेष्ठ हो॥17॥
‘Valiant! There is no one like you in interpreting religion, following social customs or understanding the principles of scriptures. You are the best among all the gods and demons.॥ 17॥
