सोने से बने द्वार उस नगर की शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे। उन सभी द्वारों पर नीलम के चबूतरे बने थे। वे सभी द्वार हीरे, स्फटिक और मोतियों से जड़े थे। रत्नजड़ित फर्श उनकी शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे। उनके दोनों ओर तपे हुए सोने से बने हाथी सुंदर लग रहे थे। उन द्वारों का ऊपरी भाग चाँदी का होने के कारण स्वच्छ और श्वेत था। उनकी सीढ़ियाँ नीलम की बनी थीं। उन द्वारों के भीतरी भाग स्फटिक और रत्नों से बने थे और धूल से मुक्त थे। वे सभी द्वार सुंदर थे और उनमें सुंदर सभामंडप थे और वे इतने ऊँचे थे कि मानो आकाश में उठ रहे हों।
The gates made of gold were adding to the beauty of that city. All those gates had platforms of sapphire. All those gates were studded with diamonds, crystals and pearls. The gem-studded floors were enhancing their beauty. On both their sides, elephants made of heated gold looked beautiful. The upper part of those gates was clean and white because it was made of silver. Their stairs were made of sapphire. The inner parts of those gates were made of crystals and gems and were free from dust. All those gates were beautiful and had beautiful assembly halls and were so high that they seemed to be rising in the sky.
