उस नगरी की रक्षा के लिए बड़े-बड़े सर्प आते-जाते रहते थे, जिससे वह सर्पों से सुरक्षित, सुन्दर भोगवतीपुरी के समान प्रतीत होती थी। अमरावतीपुरी के समान, आवश्यकतानुसार बिजली से चमकते बादल उस पर छा जाते थे। वह नगरी ग्रह-नक्षत्रों के समान विद्युत दीपों के प्रकाश से प्रकाशित रहती थी और वहाँ सदैव तेज पवनों का शब्द सुनाई देता था।
To protect that city, large serpents kept coming and going, so it appeared like the beautiful Bhogavatipuri, safe from snakes. Like Amaravatipuri, clouds with lightning used to cover it as per the need.
