तब वीर हनुमान्ने अपने सामने खड़ी लंका से कहा - 'हे निर्दयी स्त्री! मैं तुझसे ठीक वही कहूँगा जो तू मुझसे पूछ रही है; परन्तु पहले यह बता कि तू कौन है? तेरे नेत्र बड़े डरावने हैं। तू इस नगर के द्वार पर खड़ी है। तू मुझे इतना क्रोध करके डाँट क्यों रही है?'॥ 25-26॥
Then the brave Hanuman said to Lanka standing in front of him - 'You cruel woman! I will tell you exactly what you are asking me; but first tell me who you are. Your eyes are very scary. You are standing at the gate of this city. What is the reason that you are scolding me in such anger?'॥ 25-26॥
