वह सब प्रकार के आभूषण धारण करके परम सुन्दरी होकर अशोक वाटिका में प्रविष्ट हुआ, जो नाना प्रकार के पुष्पों और नाना प्रकार के फलदार वृक्षों से सुशोभित थी। नाना प्रकार के पुष्प उसकी शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे। वह उद्यान अनेक सरोवरों से घिरा हुआ था। वहाँ सदैव मदमस्त रहने वाले अत्यंत अद्भुत पक्षियों के कारण उसकी एक अनोखी शोभा थी। अनेक सुंदर क्रीड़ारत मृगों से युक्त वह उद्यान नाना प्रकार के मृगों के समूहों से आबाद था। वहाँ की भूमि अनेक गिरे हुए फलों से ढकी हुई थी। पुष्प उद्यान के द्वार रत्नों और सुवर्ण से बने हुए थे और उसके भीतर पंक्तिबद्ध वृक्ष दूर-दूर तक फैले हुए थे। वहाँ की गलियों को देखते हुए रावण उद्यान में प्रविष्ट हुआ।
