हिरणों और पक्षियों से भरी हुई वह भूमि नंदन वन के समान सुन्दर प्रतीत हो रही थी; वह मीनारों और राजमहलों से युक्त थी और कोयलों के शोर से भरी हुई प्रतीत हो रही थी।
That land, infested with deer and birds, looked as beautiful as the Nandan forest; it was dotted with towers and royal palaces and seemed filled with the noise of the cuckoos.
