व्रत के कारण दुर्बल हो चुकी उस दुःखी स्त्री के मुख से आँसुओं की धारा बह रही थी। वह दयनीय अवस्था में पड़ी हुई, शोक और चिन्ता में डूबी हुई थी और निरन्तर शोक में डूबी रहती थी॥ 23॥
A stream of tears was flowing from the face of that distressed woman who had become weak due to fasting. She was lying in a pitiable state, immersed in grief and worry and was constantly immersed in sorrow.॥ 23॥
