इस जीवन को नष्ट करने में अनेक दोष हैं। जो मनुष्य जीवित रहता है, वह किसी न किसी दिन अवश्य ही धन्य हो जाता है; इसलिए मैं इन जीवनों को धारण करूँगा। यदि जीवित रहता है, तो इच्छित वस्तु या सुख की प्राप्ति अवश्यंभावी है।॥47॥
‘There are many faults in destroying this life. The man who remains alive, some day or the other, is sure to be blessed; therefore I shall hold on to these lives. If one remains alive, attainment of the desired object or happiness is inevitable.’॥ 47॥
