तत्पश्चात् समस्त वानर अपने स्वामी के शोक से पीड़ित होकर अपने सिर पर हाथ-मुट्ठियाँ पीटने लगेंगे। वे वानर, जिन्हें महाप्रतापी वानरराज ने सान्त्वनापूर्ण वचनों और दान से पाला था, प्राण त्याग देंगे॥ 32-33॥
‘Thereafter all the monkeys, afflicted by their master's grief, will begin beating their heads with their hands and fists. Those monkeys, who had been nurtured by the glorious monkey king with consoling words and charity, will give up their lives.॥ 32-33॥
