ऐरावतविषाणाग्रैरापीडनकृतव्रणौ।
वज्रोल्लिखितपीनांसौ विष्णुचक्रपरिक्षतौ॥ १६॥ |

| युद्ध के समय उन भुजाओं पर ऐरावत हाथी के दाँतों के अग्रभाग के प्रहारों के चिह्न थे। उन भुजाओं का आधार या कन्धा बहुत मोटा था और उन पर वज्र के प्रहारों के चिह्न भी दिखाई दे रहे थे। वे भुजाएँ किसी समय भगवान विष्णु के चक्र से भी क्षत-विक्षत हो गई थीं॥16॥ |

| During the war, those arms had the marks of the blows made by the front part of the tusks of the elephant Airavat. The base or shoulders of those arms were very thick and the marks of blows made by thunderbolts were also visible on them.
