महद्भिरुच्छ्रितं शृङ्गैर्महेन्द्रं स महाबल:।
विचचार हरिश्रेष्ठो महेन्द्रसमविक्रम:॥ ४२॥

महाशिखरों से भी ऊँचे प्रतीत होने वाले महेन्द्र पर्वत पर आरूढ़ होकर इन्द्र के समान पराक्रमी वीरों में श्रेष्ठ हनुमान् जी इधर-उधर विचरण करने लगे॥42॥
Mounted on Mahendra Mountain, which appeared to be higher than the great peaks, Hanuman, the best of mighty warriors, as mighty as Indra, started strolling here and there. 42॥
