यच्चापि मन्येत भवान् महात्मा
स्त्रीघातदोषस्तु भवेन्न मह्यम्।

| महाराजकुमार! आप महात्मा हैं, अतः यदि आप चाहते हैं कि मैं स्त्री-हत्या के पाप से मुक्त हो जाऊँ, तो यह समझकर कि यह वालि का जीव है, मुझे मार डालिए। इससे आपको स्त्री-हत्या का पाप नहीं लगेगा॥ 37॥ |
