न चाहं हरिराज्यस्य प्रभवाम्यङ्गदस्य वा।
पितृव्यस्तस्य सुग्रीव: सर्वकार्येष्वनन्तर:॥ १४॥
अनुवाद
मैं न तो वानरों के राज्य की स्वामिनी हूँ और न अंगद के लिए कुछ करने का अधिकार रखती हूँ। उसके चाचा सुग्रीव ही सब कार्य करने में समर्थ हैं और वे मुझसे भी अधिक उसके निकट हैं।॥14॥
‘I am neither the mistress of the kingdom of the monkeys nor do I have the right to do anything for Angad. His uncle Sugreeva is capable of doing all the tasks and he is also closer to him than me.॥ 14॥
