कृत्येषु वाली मेधावी राजानो बहुदर्शिन:।
भवन्त परहन्तारस्ते ज्ञेया: प्राकृतैर्नरै:॥ २३॥
अनुवाद
'वालि इन सब कार्यों में अत्यन्त कुशल है। राजा दिव्यदर्शी होते हैं - वे आक्रमण करने के अनेक तरीके जानते हैं, इसीलिए वे अपने शत्रुओं का नाश कर देते हैं। ऐसे शत्रु भूत राजाओं को प्राकृतिक वेशधारी मनुष्यों (गुप्तचरों) द्वारा पहचानने का प्रयत्न करना चाहिए। 23॥
‘Wali is very skilled in all these tasks. Kings are clairvoyant – they know many ways to attack, that is why they destroy their enemies. Efforts should be made to identify such enemy ghost kings through humans (spies) dressed in natural attire. 23॥
