अहो शाखामृगत्वं ते व्यक्तमेव प्लवङ्गम।
लघुचित्ततयाऽऽत्मानं न स्थापयसि यो मतौ॥ १७॥
अनुवाद
आश्चर्य की बात है कि इस समय तुमने बन्दर जैसी फुर्ती दिखाई है। हे वानरश्रेष्ठ! तुम्हारा मन चंचल है। इसीलिए तुम विचार-पथ पर स्थिर नहीं रह पा रहे हो॥ 17॥
‘It is surprising that at this time you have displayed the agility of a monkey. O great monkey! Your mind is restless. That is why you are unable to keep yourself steady on the path of thoughts.॥ 17॥
