इक्ष्वाकूणामियं भूमि: सशैलवनकानना।

| ‘पहाड़ों, वनों और जंगलों सहित यह सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वी इक्ष्वाकुवंश के राजाओं की है; अतः यहाँ के पशु, पक्षी और मनुष्यों पर दया करने तथा उन्हें दण्ड देने का अधिकार भी उन्हीं को है ॥6॥ |
