नरोत्तम: कालयुगान्तकोपमं
शरोत्तमं काञ्चनरूप्यभूषितम्।
ससर्ज दीप्तं तममित्रमर्दनं
सधूममग्निं मुखतो यथा हर:॥ ३८॥ |

| श्री रामजी का वह उत्तम बाण पूर्वकाल के युग के समान भयंकर और सुवर्ण-रजत से विभूषित था। पूर्वकाल में जैसे महादेवजी ने शत्रु कामदेव का नाश करने के लिए अपने मुख से (ललाट के नीचे स्थित नेत्र से) धुँआधार अग्नि उत्पन्न की थी, उसी प्रकार पुरुषोत्तम श्री रामजी ने शत्रु सुग्रीव का वध करने के लिए उस प्रज्वलित बाण को छोड़ा था॥38॥ |

| That excellent arrow of Shri Ram was as fierce as the era of the past and adorned with gold and silver. In earlier times, just as Mahadevji had created a smoky fire from his mouth (from the frontal eye under the forehead) to destroy the enemy Kamadeva, in the same way Purushottam Shri Ram had released that flaming arrow to kill the enemy Sugriva. 38॥ |
