'इस प्रकार उस समय मैं दण्डकारण्य में विचरण करता हुआ धर्म को कलंकित करने वाला मारीच तपस्वी धर्म का आश्रय लेने वाले श्री राम, विदेहनन्दिनी की महान भक्त सीता तथा मिताहारी तपस्वी रूप में समस्त प्राणियों के कल्याण के लिए सदैव तत्पर रहने वाले महारथी लक्ष्मण के पास पहुँचा। 7-8॥
'In this way, at that time, while wandering in Dandakaranya, I, the one who tarnishes the religion, reached Shri Ram, who took shelter of Marich Tapas Dharma, Sita, the great devotee of Videhanandini, and Lakshman, the great charioteer, who was always ready for the welfare of all living beings in the form of a Mitahari ascetic. 7-8॥
